Staff MEB Posted September 25, 2017 Staff Share Posted September 25, 2017 Hi zarusoba, I'm not sure if it's currently possible to open a file stored directly in the iPad storage from Affinity Photo. I think we haven't implemented this yet, or something isn't working as it should (still checking checking this now as currently that option doesn't appear for me either). Meanwhile you can save the file to iCloud and open in Affinity Photo or send the file directly from Procreate tapping the Share button, selecting PSD, then scrolling the first row to the right if needed and selecting Copy to Photo. How do i get Affinity Photo to open an image in my files? I don't use the cloud, but have all the files stored on my iPad and can open them all. Select Import from Cloud, then you can select your iPad folder.

Open/Import from Cloud utilises Files app and allows user to browse all connected sources. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Staff MEB Posted July 15, 2021 Staff Share Posted July 15, 2021 Hi @DM1, That reply is from 2017. At the time Affinity apps and iOS were quite different (Files app was only introduced in late 2017 with iOS11).
