More flexible vignette effect

Recommended Posts

Before anyone suggests alternative methods to create vignettes, I’m aware there are many ways to skin this cat. As for the vignette effect, it would be great if you could change the center of a vignette depending on the composition.

Do you mean in the develop persona?

Despite your preamble I’m going to throw out a suggestion for the photo persona.

1. Add a fill layer

2. Create an elliptical gradient

3. Set middle node to white

4. Set outer node to middle grey

5. Set blend mode to multiply

Now you have an infinitely adjustable vignette layer.

I never said thank you for this. Works like a charm.
