lancslad
Just starting to learn the software but combining two of my images has me in trouble. How do I import a second image as a layer. Thanks in advance.
Michel Boissonneault
Hi (Bonjour)! Open the second document in a new window, select all, copy and paste in the first document. A new layer will be created on top.
Staff MEB Posted September 25, 2017 Staff Share Posted September 25, 2017 Hi lancslad, Welcome to Affinity Forums You can also go to menu File ▸ Place... and select the file you want to add from the dialog that will open (Designer and Phpto). In Affinity Designer you can also use the Place Image Tool for this. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

lancslad
Thank you, much appreciated. Why is it always the simple things that confound me, although I don't find this particularly intuitive. They have a whole list of choices under the layer menu but not this. In ON1 it is something like "select file as new layer". Thanks again.
