Neshiah474
Hi. I've been experiencing a problem with layers not merging. The file is a mere A4 in size, 300DPI, 2 layers. 1st gen 12.9 iPad Pro, IOS 10.3.3., AP 1.6.
Chris_K
Hi Nehiah474 Only certain layer types can be merged. Make sure your layers are pixel layers before attempting to merge them. It is a known issue that the merge options are available for invalid layers Cheers Serif Europe Ltd - Check the latest news at www.affinity.serif.com
Neshiah474
Hiya. Thanks for your response. I did check the layer types. They were definitely pixel layers. Due to the limitations of my understanding I only at present use these layer types. Merge Selected wouldn't work, for whatever reason. Merge visible did however. Have a nice day, Neil. Staff MEB Posted September 20, 2017 Staff Share Posted September 20, 2017 Hi Neshiah474, Sorry the dumb question but did you have both layers selected in the layers panel when you attempted Merge Selected? By Pixel layers i mean that both layers are labelled/identified as Pixel in small letters above the layer's name in the Layers Studio. Neshiah474
Hiya. Indeed, I most definitely did have both layers selected. When selecting a new layer I only ever choose and use pixel layers as I understand how to use these.
