How to lighten an area in Mac Photos with the plug in?

Hi ivolino,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

You can use the Affinity Retouch extension for that. Select the Dodge Tool (there's no need to create a selection first), adjust the Dodge Brush settings on the top of the extension screen - make sure the Opacity or the Flow are NOT set to 0% (otherwise you will not see any changes on the image) and use the Hardness control to soften the brush a little (0% softest edges/100% hardest edges), then paint over the area you wan to make brighter.
