Transfer Page Plus from old PC to new PC

Recommended Posts

I have had PagePlus SE on my old Laptop for approx. 10 years. Now have new Laptop. How do I/can I move the programme to new Laptop.  I have copied all the Serif files from "Programme Files" on old PC to similar place on new PC.  When I click on Pageplus.exe (Application) the programme tries to open and I get message"Unable to access Registration Wizard".  How can I install properly?

Willyrob444,

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, where you can get support and advice about Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo software.

I expect you have copied the installed files to the new computer without using the installer. All the legacy range requires to be installed and not just moved.

As explained here, Support for the legacy range is all on http://community.serif.com so please go there if you need further support

Odd! .... .  Really confused - have I missed something???

Yes, you seem to have missed a member of staff saying that you have to use a Serif installer on the new computer. No third party application is going to be able to assist with this.

Also as I said, you should come to Community.serif.com or create a support ticket and we will assist you with this. Did you do that?
