Affinity Designer needs arrowheads (moved from beta thread)

Recommended Posts

I've downloaded the demo version of designer. I love almost everything about it, with a big missing feature -- arrowheads. For tech drawings, I need them. I currently use OmniGraffle for this, but it has it's shortcomings as well so I stay at version 6 with OmniGraffle.

I want to use designer for my tech drawing needs, but I haven't purchased a copy yet, because of this one feature, so I am unable to ascertain whether or not this feature has made it into the current beta. I'd be delighted to beta test, but I don't have a purchased copy, and I can't purchase until this feature is added. So, just out of curiosity, are there arrowheads on the horizon?

Thanks.

I have been using affinity software since it was in beta, and it's fantastic - even my multinational architecture company is starting to use it in the office, but i cannot do any of the work that i need to in terms of the multiple diagrams we do without arrowheads on end of lines, so please include them soon to break into my market.

Hi moosemunch, dimitarsp,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

No, there's no arrowheads in the current Beta. They are on our roadmap and should be implemented before version 2.0 comes out (the roadmap covers the entire 1.x cycle) but there's no eta for any specific features on the roadmap. They will be added as soon as they are ready.
