yusha
Hi all, I need help making a proper square or any shape with perfect sharp corners/strokes. I can’t find out how to do so - am I missing something or is this a limitation of Photo’s engine? Please see the attached screenshot. Anything drawn has round corners, even the Pen tool and the Pixel brush! The only way I can get sharp corners is to import a vector object but even then it’s borders lose opacity and it doesn’t look right.
Staff Chris B Posted September 4, 2017 Staff Share Posted September 4, 2017 Hi yusha, You can place a rectangle and then go to Layer FX > Outline and set the Alignment to Inside. This should give you an stroke effect where the corners are perfectly sharp. Augusto Nouel Perera
Thanks BUT... ... it doesn't work in my Designer (1.10.3): Corners keep rounded when using wide strokes. Even if working, we don't have to go trough that process all the time. ___________________________________________________••• Can't we have a SHARP NODE EDGES line (brush)? •••

Try a Miter join instead (circled, below).
