SigsCreations
I do a lot of seamless tiles and was wondering if there is a wrap around paint and/or draw function somewhere. I have an old program called PhotoSeam that does a great job, but it is limited to around 300px. That was fine when I was making for online use only, but now I do mostly for print and could use it larger. Vector would be cool and extremely useful, but mostly I use my photos. thanks
Staff DWright Posted August 31, 2017 Staff Share Posted August 31, 2017 Hi SigsCreations, Welcome to the forum This video tutorial on making interactive patterns using Affinity Designer shows how to make seamless patterns out of vector images I have not tried it using photos. You can download our free 10 trial of Designer from this link and you can see if it will do wraparound that you want.
GaryLearnTech
Hi SigsCreations - I saw your request and recalled seeing this first video recently - it should give you a basic answer for bitmapped patterns. When searching it out, I came across the second one which looks like it might be useful too. 1) Affinity Photo - Seamless Textures 2) Affinity Photo - Clone Sources: Texture Creation Cheers, Gary Quote —— Gary —— Photo/Designer/Publisher: Affinity Store, v2.1.1 release Mac mini (M1, 2020), 16GB/2TB, macOS Ventura 13.4.1(c) • MacBook Pro (Intel), macOS Ventura • Windows 10 via VMware Fusion • iOS: current release
