NewToAffinity Posted August 29, 2017 Share Posted August 29, 2017 Hi, I'm currently working with the trial version of Affinity photo and Lightroom. Im trying to see if Affinity can replace Lightroom for quick and simple edits but I'm running in to a few issues which stop me getting the same results that I get in Lightroom. In both applications I have done similar edits but I'm getting much worse results in affinity (which I think is more due to my lack of experience with affinity than anything else). In the screenshots attached I did a HSL adjustment and got very different results. I was shifting purple to blue and the results in Lightroom are a lot "smoother". I get similar results when lifting shadows and some other adjustments. Ive tried turning off the tone curve, changing profiles but nothing seems to work. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
