I'd like to be able to have my text stretch to fill a shape. Like when you get text to follow a path, but I want one side of the text to stay straight and the other side to follow the curve. Eg the text sits on a line, but the top of the text is stretched up in an arc. Is this possible ? Thanks

Hi Zahra777,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

You can create that kind of distortion using the Mesh Warp Tool in Affinity Photo (almost on the bottom of the toolbar). Currently Affinity Designer doesn't have any tools that allow this type of distortion unless you do it manually adjusting the nodes individually for each shape. We already have plans to introduce a Mesh Warp Distortion Tool in Designer (see Designer's roadmap).
