abject39
In Affinity Designer, Gaussian blur seems to always stay on top of any noise I add. The issue is that the Gaussian blur sometimes show color gradient bands so being able to use noise on top of it to dither is needed. Is there anyway to use the Gaussian blur in Affinity Designer and then add noise afterwards on top of it to get rid of the color banding it creates? Staff MEB Posted August 21, 2017 Staff Share Posted August 21, 2017 Hi abject39, You can try to place a duplicate of the object with the fill set to white + noise and the blend mode set to multiply. You may also try to change the document colour format to RGB16bit and make sure you have Dither gradients checked in Affinity Designer Preferences, Performance section.
