At some point, 2 or 3 betas ago, live filters introduced an annoying bug, showing a grid which makes them unusable. It's been reported other times as a vignette issue, but as the OP noticed is actually affecting other live filters as well.

This thread should really have been posted in the beta section for the respective app at fault. I will wait to see what evtonic3 has to add before I move the thread.

Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.

@evtonic3 A picture may be worth a thousand words, but unfortunately in this case none of them say which beta or which platform you are using....

never knew how to get that neat footnote many users have showing the specs of their computer, like you have.

Click on your user name at the top of the page, choose Account Settings, & then Signature from the choices on the left (direct link). You can put any info you want in your Signature.

But regardless, if you are asking about a bug in a beta, you can include the beta version number you are using & the platform in the text of a reply, since it may not be the same as anything in your sig.

Hello R C-R
This bug’s not present in the current MAS version of Affinity Photo but appeared with the first 1.6 beta.
In my experience of it so far, it’s natural habitat seems to be confined to the Live Filters, sometimes also manifesting as a faint grid.
It’s been well documented now and I’m sure that the devs will be able to squish it before too long;)

For the record, the issue seems to be fixed in the latest beta 1.6.0.80 for Windows.

Edit: never mind, Shadows/Highlights is still buggy.
