Edwa
Where are the help directions for tilting a photograph forward or backward to compensate for a tilted camera angle? Photoshop has this.

Edwa
The directions are clear, but after clicking Develop Persona in upper left and in Histogram tab in upper right, I do not see the Basic, Lens, Details .., - I see Adjustment, Layers, Effects. I've tried clicking every thing trying to find the lens correction that I see in your screen shot.

Staff MEB Posted August 16, 2017 Staff Share Posted August 16, 2017 Hi Edwa, Welcome to Affinity Forums These panels (Adjustments, Layers, Effects etc) belong to Photo Persona. Are you sure you switched to Develop Persona? You must select a pixel layer in the Layers panel (check the label between parenthesis after the layers name in the Layers panel) before switching to Develop Persona, otherwise you will receive a warning requesting you to select a pixel layer. Edwa
Thanks. I started over and opened photo and first saved as Affinity photo and clicked Develop and did go to where I could open lens - I didn't click pixel layer - but since there is only it must have been selected. I was able to adjust and crop perfectly BUT when I clicked the Develop button (upper left) to save the adjusted image it saved half of image and crop is gone. How do I save my lens adjusted and cropped photo from the Develop Persona?

There is no 'auto select' of a single layer document. One reason is that sometimes we want nothing selected so no bounding boxes appear. Edwa
Thanks again. Can you tell me where the buttons are to click to apply crop and save image?
Staff MEB Posted August 17, 2017 Staff Share Posted August 17, 2017 Hi Edwa, To crop the image in Develop Persona, double-click inside the crop area. Then adjust the settings (Lens Correction) as you want and finally too commit the Develop Persona changes and move the image to Photo Persona click the blue Develop button on the top left of the interface. Edwa
Clicking the Develop button does not work. It saves the left half of the photo with distorted angled to the left photo.
toltec
Can you post the picture so we can see. I just tried this with a few different files and combinations and it worked every time.
