Alan Goldhammer
I cannot find an answer to this in the documentation. I have been using Affinity Photo as a replacement for Photoshop and am pleased with the performance. I have a question about printing and whether I can print profile targets with no color management. Photoshop CS6 does not allow this (there is a 'null transform' work around) and Adobe suggests using the Adobe Color Print Utility (ACPU) for this purpose. Unfortunately with WindowsOS, patch sizes are reduced by 4% using ACPU. Adobe is aware of this issue but shows no signs of wanting to fix it. I would like to be able to use Affinity photo to print ArgyllCMS generated profile targets with no color management if possible so that target size is retained. Staff DWright Posted August 14, 2017 Staff Share Posted August 14, 2017 Affinity Photo does not have the option to output without a colour profile and by default we use sRGB IEC61966-2.1, you can post this as a feature request and it may be included in a future build. Thanks, that's what I thought. I'll post a request.
AJdigital
Can you save the file as a tiff with no profile designated and import the file into a layout software( AI, AD )at 100%? Might even be able to do it in Google Doc?? I have done this with multiple profile targets from Gretag/Xrite in Adobe Illustrator and added imagery to do printing press ICC profiles and had no issues. Alan Goldhammer
@AJdigital - I don't have any other software other than Lightroom, Photoshop, and Affinity photo. Adobe removed this option with the release of Photoshop CS5.
