How can I add texture to the fill of a shape?

1. Draw your shape and load your texture as a layer:

2. Drag the texture layer to the shape layer like in screenshot #2

3. Move the texture to cover the shape. Et voilà!

You can also use a saved image file for this: select the shape with the Fill Tool. On the Context toolbar, select Context: Fill & Type: Bitmap. A window will open which will allow you to choose an image file to use as a texture fill. Supported file types are jpg, tiff, png, gif, & bmp. The "Extend" Context Toolbar options (Wrap, Mirror, Repeat, & None) produce different mapping effects, & the image can be stretched or rotated like with any gradient fill.

Right, it works better with seamless textures.
