T_majid Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Hello, How can I add texture to the fill of a shape? Quote

Drag the texture layer to the shape layer like in screenshot #2 3. Move the texture to cover the shape. Et voilà! Quote
R C-R Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 (edited) You can also use a saved image file for this: select the shape with the Fill Tool. On the Context toolbar, select Context: Fill & Type: Bitmap. A window will open which will allow you to choose an image file to use as a texture fill. Supported file types are jpg, tiff, png, gif, & bmp. The "Extend" Context Toolbar options (Wrap, Mirror, Repeat, & None) produce different mapping effects, & the image can be stretched or rotated like with any gradient fill. I simply can't seem to get this to work. Anyone? Quote
walt.farrell Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 Just a hint, @Affinity NueBe: You're more likely to get good iPad answers if you ask a question in the iPad section of the forum. You can point to this discussion as some background if you want, but it's best to keep iPad and desktop discussions in their proper spots, in general.
