Grid overlay on photos-how do I adjust size

Recommended Posts

Hi

I want to overlay a photo with a grid so I can use it as a reference for a pencil drawing I'm planning to do. I know there's a grid option, but can't find a way of resizing the squares to the desired size.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks :)

Hello sile001
Go to;  View > Show Grid & Axis Manager…
In the window that opens make sure ‘Use Automatic Grid’ is Unchecked/Off.
The manager has two modes; Basic & Advanced. Though in this case, for what you want to do, Basic mode would I think suffice.

Hi sile001,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

The grid is not adjustable on the iPad version. You can only turn it on or off (it uses the Automatic grid mode as in the desktop versions) meaning the number of divisions varies based on the zoom level. The explanations given above only apply to the desktop version.
