Probably easiest to just copy it 3 times and position with snapping on. The images will snap to the edges. Providing you have the options set in snapping manager.

 

Ctrl J is the shortcut to duplicate

 

If you want just one layer, make sure only those are visible and "merge visible". But it's probably best to just group them.
