Dave 007 Posted August 7, 2017 Share Posted August 7, 2017 Hi, I am trying to to use the frequency separation tool, it requires that I use the freehand selection tool to create a feathered mask. However when I select the free hand tool it will allow me to draw a mask, but instead of marching ants I get a solid outline and as soon as I release my finger having completed drawing the mask it vanishes. toltec Posted August 7, 2017 Share Posted August 7, 2017 It sounds like you have Subtract selected on the Context toolbar. You have to have New or Add selected. One other reason could be Show Pixel Selection is turned Off. View > Show Pixel Selection. That way you could make a selection and never know. Quote Windows PCs.
