odrano77 Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 I am new to this wonderful software program (Affinity Photo for Windows) and I wonder if there is a way to hide the Menu Bar, the one on the very top of the interface. I noticed that in the tutorials by Ezra Anderson the Menu Bar disappears when he move the mouse cursor all the way up. A suggestion will be much appreciated. Thanks. xMaxrayx 1
Staff MEB Posted August 5, 2017 Staff Posted August 5, 2017 Hi odrano77, Welcome to Affinity Forums This is a macOS feature - the ability to run an application in fullscreen mode (hiding the menu on top) - and as such it's not available on Windows. A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

Thank you for answering my question. I switched to Affinity Photo because I like the freedom from paying monthly fees to Adobe. I own a legal copy of Adobe Photoshop CS3 and after I reformatted my HD and trying to reinstall the program; Adobe will not let me activate it. They discontinued their phone support for non- subscription programs. I feel cheated because I’ve been paying for Photoshop upgrades for years. As long Affinity Photo remains free of monthly charges, it will have my loyalty forever, since I can do faster and better everything I need to do with my photo editing.
xMaxrayx Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 Really sad we can't hide it, idk what's the point of show it when you can just press Alt key. I tired this with AHK and doesn't have any affect F::{ WinSetStyle("^0xC00000", "A") } https://github.com/xmaxrayx
