noe_05
Hi, this might be an easy question. how is it possible to devide a curve into equal sections. I need a spline or curve with 4 equal length nodes. Or is this even possible? thank you
gdenby
AD doesn't have an automatic way to divide curves between nodes. The built in polygon shape can be manually broken apart into evenly sized arcs. And I suppose there might be some other methods to split symmetric objects by reflections of themselves. But off the top of my head, I can't think of any way to do it for arbitrary shapes except for some very tedious hand work. toltec
You could try the techniques discussed here https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/44392-slicing-curve/#comment-221275 Alfred's method sounds very good. toltec
Alternatively, power duplicate one curve. Draw one curve segment, duplicate it by pressing Ctrl J, move the curve to the right place and press Ctrl J twice more. That will Step and Repeat the next two curves. Quote Windows PCs.
