wheeelan Posted February 3, 2015 Share Posted February 3, 2015 Hi, I'm working on a file at the moment and suddenly the colours won't change in it. I'm selecting everything properly and using the eyedropper and nothing is happening. Again, this isn't an problem with selecting objects. It literally only happens in this one file. Staff MEB Posted April 4, 2017 Staff Share Posted April 4, 2017 Yes, if you have a text object selected and drag the colour picker in the Colour panel over a colour on canvas to pick (capture) it, you then have to click the small circle to actually apply it to the text object. If you use the Colour Picker Tool instead (in the Tools toolbar) it will change the colours directly just hovering the colour you want on canvas (with the text object selected). Can you please attach a screen capture of the application with the Layers panel visible and the text layer you are trying to edit/change colour selected? Here's how to attach images/files to a post.
