deborahlee
I have a question which i hope can be addressed. I currently use an imac version 10.6.8. I also use Lightroom 3. I am considering upgrading to Affinity. Will this replace my need for Lightroom? Also, do i need to upgrade to Sierra to use it? Also, if I do get Affinity, will I be able to import all my edited photos from lightroom? Thank you for addressing this confusing complex problem. Staff Lee D Posted July 18, 2017 Staff Share Posted July 18, 2017 Hi deborahlee, Welcome to the forums. Affinity Photo is a photo developer and editor and Lightroom is a developer and organiser, two different types of apps. Affinity Photo will run on OSX Lion to macOS Sierra, so if you're running Snow Leopard, yes you will need to upgrade your OS. If your images in Lightroom are in a compatible format Affinity Photo will open them, see our full feature list for more information.
