Hi Saeufer and Welcome to the Affinity Forums,

It's not possible, you would 1st need to export/save the image and then drag from Finder (if on a Mac) or from Windows Explorer (if on Windows) to the site mentioned.

Hi stokerg,

thanks for your reply.

Is this a planned feature or can I make a feature request for it?

Thanks.

By all means you make can make a request for it in the Requests section of the forums :)

If it's something the Dev team can getting working, i'm not so sure about.  As technically the final file doesn't exist until it's been saved/exported from Affinity.

An Affinity file would be too complex, lots of layers, text, adjustments, transparency and undo information. Dropzone only supports JPEG (or maybe a few simple files types like PNG?). You have to "dumb down" the Affinity .afphoto file first.

The easiest way is to Export it. Anyway, dropzone asks for a file to be "dropped" not saved to a folder. Very different things. I think that would need ftp? Dropzone would have to make a folder available. Lots of security implications too.

I don't know about dropzone, but with ftp you can get software that automatically uploads from a designated folder, Whenever a file appears in the folder it uploads it immediately. You could export from Affinity, then the rest is done for you.

Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.
