Nofe
I draw in Affinity Photo and I've seen people draw and resize the lineart on YT. I just can't figure it out... Please give me a hand so I don't have to undo or erase and redraw the thing.

What I mean is I just need to resize the creature... R C-R
Because the creature & part of the background are on the same pixel layer, the simplest way I know to do this is to duplicate that pixel layer, erase everything that is not a part of it in the dup & everything that is in the original. You can then select the duplicate pixel layer with the Move tool & resize it as desired. Attached is a very crude example of this, including grouping the creature layer & the blue layer I assume you might want resized along with it so they both resize proportionally. creature sketch.afphoto Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.4.1 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 Affinity Photo 1.10.8; Affinity Designer 1.108; & all 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.
toltec
Well yes, if the creature is on a separate layer, you can resize him (or her) easily. If you just click on the creatures layer, you should get a bounding box around the creature. You can then drag on the corners of the box to resize it, independently of the other layers. Here you can see just how bad my drawing is. Nofe 1 Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.
toltec
If he is not separate, do as R C-R just suggested. The only problem is, when you enlarge him, the quality will go down. Maybe Pixelated, If so, copy the creature layer into a separate document. Try enlarging it by using Document > Resize Pixel Art Document and paste it back in at the larger size. Quote Windows PCs. What you're likely seeing them do in the videos is selecting the part with the freehand selection tool, then using the move tool to manipulate it. You'll quite often see them doing it with eyes for example to fine tune them to make them look better proportioned/orientated. Obviously it helps to have organised line art layers.
