desult
As the Subject says, I'm looking for a quicker way to access those tools to change the way the nodes behave and are shaped. What are people's workflow like for fine tuning the nodes and handles? Moving my mouse up to that bar every time is not great.
Alfred
You can Alt-click a smooth or smart node to convert it to sharp. With the Node Tool selected, dragging on the curve on either side of a sharp node will make a node handle appear, and once that sharp node has two node handles visible you can convert it to a smooth node by dragging on either of the handles until the node and its two handles lie in a straight line. desult and skmwrp 1 1 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)

Thanks. Saved hours for me. Alfred

Thanks for this! Just saved us a bunch of effort as well. Also stumbled upon if you drag the line between two Smooth points while holding the Opt/Alt key, it converts the nodes on either side to Sharp automatically, which is even more useful. Timothy Bliss
And here we are on version 2. The upgrade which gave me hope... That the developers might have fixed this. Does anyone else use smart points?
