Hi,

Is it possible to undo a crop after saving?  I cropped an image to fit my computer monitor, then saved.  It looks like the edit history deletes upon saving.  Is there a way to undo the crop while saving all the edits I did to the image?

While looking for a way to undo my crop, I noticed there is a "save history with document" option.  Should I have selected that option?

Thanks,

Russell

Document > Unclip Canvas

That doesn't do anything that I can see.  I crop in Develop mode (I push Return after setting the grid around the area I want).  I then Develop and enter Photo P.  When I click Document > Unclip Canvas nothing changes.  The areas outside of the crop are not seen, even if I re-enter Develop and pull the crop handles out to where the original photo's edges were (checkered space shows).

I am afraid of cropping for fear of losing parts of the picture I may want to later go back and include.

Yes, you are right. I tried that, cropped in Develop, unclipped in Photo and all sorts of strange things happened, which is a bug it seems.

Best to crop and resize in photo then.

That works every time.

Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.

Thanks, that works in Photo.  I agree that it must be a bug in Develop.  I've see the "all sorts of strange things" occur, too.
