Eve.Rodriguez
Hello there, I would like to know if there is any trick to avoid pixelated images from retina screens of Mac? when I am designing a banner I always have the "Retina pixel view mode" option activated but once I upload it to the web page the image looks very pixelated. Does anyone know why this happens? Thanks and greetings, Eve.
Staff MEB Posted July 14, 2017 Staff Share Posted July 14, 2017 Hi Eve.Rodriguez, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) The View Modes in Designer are just for previewing how the image/pixels will look after exporting to a raster format. If you want to export a "retina" version of your image/design, export it with (usually) twice the pixel size of your chosen document size. So for example if you are working on a 64X64px icon (document size), export it with 128X128px. It then depends on the webpage code to set its display size on the page correctly.
