toltec Posted July 14, 2017 Share Posted July 14, 2017 Nothing. There appears to be no way of controlling where it takes the information from. Why not try the Patch tool instead? Draw around the area you want to remove, then drag the mouse to define a source area. You don't have to do it in one go. You can do the main area with the patch tool and then use the inpainting tool to touch up the rest. That way affinity is less likely to sample the parts you don't want. Rubyjim 1 Quote Windows PCs. Uuiop Posted July 15, 2017 Share Posted July 15, 2017 I use a 'suck it and see' approach. If the first inpainting doesn't do what I want, cmd-z reverts and I try from a different direction.
