displaying "lost edges" in AD

Hi,

 

i need to display the "lost edges" guides (don't know the exact terms in english ; in french, bords perdus, cut in printing process) for a printable edge to edge document.

 

How to display that guides in affinity designer ?

Hi Larsene,

 

I'm not sure if I've completely understood your question. Are you trying to include print marks in your document?

 

Printer marks can only be added to PDF's you can add them by clicking the More button during the export process and then ticking the Include Printer Marks button (see attached)

Hi Larsene,

 

I began with the Windows beta when it was first produced and was also disappointed these bleed area guides were not yet in an application marketed for "professionals."

 

The hack works as described. But it is an extra step. And if I recall, the rectangle is not visible when using an artboard.

 

While it would have also been an extra step, having the ruler guides extend off a page and ne visible would have also worked.
