evtonic3 Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 It looks like text baseline caps at -59? I really needed it to go farther than that.
Staff MEB Posted January 30, 2015 Staff Posted January 30, 2015 You can fill the value you need in the input box. A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
evtonic3 Posted January 30, 2015 Author Posted January 30, 2015 Thanks but why would you not let us just go up the chain in increments? If i clicked lower than -59 I get where I want to go, but I now have to enter a digit for any change, which is not good. Please allow for up and down arrow adjustments past these values. Thanks again for the "secret".
Dave Harris Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 There's no technical reason; we thought 60pt would be enough. We'll change it. I'm curious. Can I ask whether you are using text with a large point size, or is something else going on?
evtonic3 Posted January 30, 2015 Author Posted January 30, 2015 I use large text for restaurant window poster promotions. So all my text is huge.
evtonic3 Posted January 30, 2015 Author Posted January 30, 2015 Also I forgot to mention the reason for this, the baseline adjustment helps with prices, for instance, if I need a poster to read the price of $5.99, I can change the values of the 99 and dollar sign with this adjustment making a much aesthetically pleasing price on the poster.
evtonic3 Posted February 4, 2015 Author Posted February 4, 2015 Thanks for fixing this!! Awesome work fellers. Dale 1
