Important for controlling the K (black) plate in CMYK printing. Apologies in advance if this is already covered – I posted in the forums but got no reply (as below). In Affinity Photo, how do I manipulate Gray Component Replacement (GCR), Under Colour Removal (UCR) and dot gain settings? In Photoshop, it is accessed via the ‘Color Settings’ dialog box, go to the ‘Working Spaces’ part of the dialog box, click the drop-down menu for CMYK and select Custom CMYK. Fixx Posted July 10, 2017 Share Posted July 10, 2017 Hi Paul, I think you got no answer because GCR/UCR custom adjustments are things that only True Prepress Professionals need to bake. Normal users tend to be satisfied with canned profile seps. It makes all the difference when preparing files for print, and it would be nice not to have to run to my desktop just for that feature.
