But I was wondering if there is a way to add names to elements like. <text name=”unit-name”> Blaa</text> or adding my own class to elements. VIPStephan Posted July 9, 2017 Share Posted July 9, 2017 Affinity Designer will add an ID to all named layers/objects. So just give your object in the layers panel a name and it will add an ID to the respective SVG element. If you click the “more” button (or perhaps it’s called “advanced” in the English version, I don’t know) in the export dialog, you can select the settings with which the file is to be exported.
