photo16
Hello, I want to change the dpi - 300 dpi to 72 dpi - not the file size. I deactivated recalculate. The dpi remains 300 dpi. For example: filesize: 2000 / 1000 px = 16,93 cm / 6,47 cm - 300 dpi Now I want to change the dpi from 300 dpi to 72 dpi = 70,56 / 35,28 - 72 dpi Thanks. Staff MEB Posted July 5, 2017 Staff Share Posted July 5, 2017 Hi photo16, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) I believe you are checking the resulting dpi on an exported file. Currently there's an issue/conflict with file metadata from the original image that prevents the dpi from being set correctly. When exporting the image click the More button and uncheck Embed metadata and the file should be exported with the dpi you set. This issue is already logged to be looked at. photo16
Hello, I've updated to 1.6.6. Changing dpi is yet not possible. I can either do it as you suggested or "saving as" (the metadata remains saved). But that's still not very comfortable. Also exporting a tif-file / 72 dip will be the jpg / 300 dpi. Thanks
Staff MEB Posted November 14, 2017 Staff Share Posted November 14, 2017 Hi photo16, Yes, although we have this issue logged and assigned it wasn't yet possible to fix the issue. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this is causing. I've bumped the report again and added a link to this thread. Pixeltenno
unchecking meta-data works fine.
