I am new to Affinity Photo and like it a lot. I have been looking for a function I cannot find. Does Affinity Photo have a function similar to Photoshop's Offset? I am working with 360 by 180 degree equirectangular images, and I would like to move them right or left to put put a particular feature in the center. The offset function moves the image to the right, for example, and wraps it to the left side.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Ron

Hi Ron,

This link is to our video showing how to make seamless textures using offset

Got a dead link there.

Offset X and Offset Y are hiding inside the Filter > Distort  > Affine... panel.

FWIW I have never encountered the word "affine" before in my life.

Affine: "Allowing for or preserving parallel relationships.allowing for or preserving parallel relationships."

Okay if that concept exists, I guess Offset fits there...

In the Affinity Photo beta 1.9 there is the Pattern layer from selection, the selection has to be rasterised though.
