bobmax48
I just started using the beta today. Now that getting files from iCloud works, I created an HDR image with 5 images. Did a basic exposure adjustment, using ICC I get extreme banding in thr sky. Unmanaged I still have banding but not as extreme using ICC. The images are Sony A6000 AWR. Staff Andy Somerfield Posted July 5, 2017 Staff Share Posted July 5, 2017 Hi, We are aware of this issue - we aim to get it fixed for the next beta build. If it helps, it is only a view issue - if you export the document the banding will dissapear. Thanks, Andy. Patrick Connor
A_B_C
Andy, could it be that the Gradient Tool creates more banding in the iPad version than it is the case in the desktop version? I had this impression, but it could be due to the high-res screen … hmm …
Staff Andy Somerfield Posted July 5, 2017 Staff Share Posted July 5, 2017 It's likely that dithering is disabled on the iPad version - we should probably put that switch back. It will always dither on export though.. Different issue to the 32bit one - but both should get fixed. Thanks, Andy.
