Hi FPilou,

Go to Affinity Photo Preferences, General section and check/tick Import PSD text as text rather than bitmap, then import the file again.

Hello,

I have the same problem and happy I found this thread. I'm using Affinity Photo in German - and can't find the Preferences section. Could you point me into the right direction?

Also, if I wanna switch the language in Affinity Photo - right now set to German - to English - will I have to deinstall the whole program and install it again? Or can I somehow set the language preference somewhere without installing it new?

Hi ullil-xox,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Which platform are you using? Windows or Mac? The Preferences is located in different menus. On Windows it's under the Edit menu on the Mac it's on the menu with the name of the program immediately after the apple logo.

No, you can switch the language without reinstalling the app. You only have to close and restart it after changing the Language. See the screenshot below - the dialog is similar on both platforms.
