Bousquet Posted July 3, 2017 Share Posted July 3, 2017 I am following the Mask Layer Compositing tutorial, however when I try to place an image, instead of the image showing up in a small window as in the tutorial it completely covers the background image and I cannot resize it. Staff MEB Posted July 3, 2017 Staff Share Posted July 3, 2017 Hi Bousquet, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) You probably tapped in the middle of the screen or the images are of different sizes. In any case just zoom out (pinch-in gesture) a few times so you can see the whole canvas/images then with the placed image selected, drag it over the initial image so they get aligned.
