arcador
Hello, I am using AD and am wondering, is there a way to import a image brush which usually uses different patterns in a random way? A good example I've seen in photoshop is the hearts or butterfly brush which creates a simple butterfly in each application, and it has several varieties. In my use case I use it to create background pattern effect on some promotional flyers. This brush really helps speed the process. An image from the net to give an example: https://media.myphotoshopbrushes.com/brushes/schemat/122.png Best regards, Veso
Alfred
In the Pixel Persona, go to the Brushes panel and click on the 'hamburger' menu icon. Choose 'New Image Brush' or 'New Intensity Brush' (depending on whether you want a coloured 'nozzle' or a greyscale opacity map as in your example) and browse to the nozzle image/s that you want to use. To change the nozzles later on, double-click the brush in the Brushes panel, go to the Texture tab in the 'Brush - Editing' dialog and press 'Add' or 'Remove' as appropriate. gdenby 1 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)
gdenby
Also, after doing what Alfred said, also look at the brush settings menu for the new brush under the general and dynamics tabs to change size, rotation, x&y variation, etc. Alfred 1 Quote iMac 27" Retina, c. 2015: OS X 10.11.5: 3.3 GHz I c-5: 32 Gb, AMD Radeon R9 M290 2048 Mb iPad 12.9" Retina, iOS 10, 512 Gb, Apple pencil Huion WH1409 tablet
arcador
Thank you guys! Will try out. Edit: tested it out. Imported .abr, set up some random changes on each application, and it seems to be working pretty well!
