awinely
I am brand new to Affinity Photo and have a photo that needs a portion of the fence that is distractingly out of focus and blatant taken out but I have no idea how to do so. I have attached the photo below. It is the odd red line cutting the picture in half, basically. Can you help me? Thank you so much!
toltec
No picture. I think you have to make a few posts before they let you upload pictures. Start with the Inpainting tool. It is part of the healing tool group. Right click on the plaster icon in the Tools bar to show it. Make the brush a little bit bigger than the offending fence and paint over it. toltec
Maybe not a video link here ?  Maybe someone here can post a link or if not go to You Tube and search for Inpainting (Affinity Photo) Quote Windows PCs. Alfred
No picture. I think you have to make a few posts before they let you upload pictures. Unless they changed it you can't attach any files with the first post or two, but even when the feature is enabled the clunky procedure trips up a lot of users. You need to remember to press the 'Attach This File' button after browsing to the file that you want to attach, otherwise the file that you spent time hunting for will simply be ignored. There is a good video here Maybe not a video link here ?  This forum seems to like swallowing embedded YouTube videos, but I've added 'code' markup to the above URL to make it show up. R C-R
In these forums it seems best to avoid trying to embed videos in replies & instead use clickable links like the one Alfred included in the last sentence of his post. Not only is it more reliable, it also allows users to open the video in a different browser window or tab that can be set to a full screen display, or for YouTube in "Theater mode," or whatever else their browser supports that offers a better view than the often too tiny embedded videos we see here. I couldn't agree more. I often find myself jumping through hoops to get hold of the URLs for Vimeo videos (which, unlike YouTube videos, do embed successfully here) so that I can watch them at a decent size in a separate browser tab.
