ronnyb
It would be SOOOOOOO cool if you guys could engineer the following, it would definitely put you in "ultimate chingon" category, and knock Adobe off the throne, no shit: If I buy the entire Affinity Suite, I don't wanna jump around 3 apps like Adobe's $uite makes you.... so, what if you could have the 3 apps (or however many you purchase) show up as meta-personas, maybe called Workspaces or something similar, basically enabling ALL the other Apps' tools in one! If I only bought 2 Apps, only those two can be enabled as one. All Affinity apps will share file formats already, right? It'd be kinda like Affinity Voltron..... Whaddya say? DrPocter
That would be very nice indeed. Why meta-personas though ? Every app could just provide one – or several – personas. The export persona could be shared by all the apps. Maybe having more of the apps would add more features, but you'd only ever have one export persona. ronnyb
I like the idea of all apps pooling their tools and personas into a common workspace.... the meta-persona might make sense in terms of grouping similar tools and workflow, i.e., i might not need all the pre-press functionality of APub when sketching and painting illustrations and call outs....
