CSAN
Hello For real estate work, I need to open several images as layers and blend them together for the final image. My workflow is mostly in Lightroom but I'd like to use Affinity Photo for the blending of different layers. The "classic" way is to select the images in Lightroom and use the function "Open as layers in Photoshop...". Is there a efficient workflow to do that with Affinity Photo as well? As a workaround, I currently select multiple images in Lightroom and open them as single images in Affinity Photo. Then I manually copy and paste all layers into one image. It works but is quite time consuming. Thank you very much for your support! Blondiwem
Staff MEB Posted June 27, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 27, 2017 Hi CSAN, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) You can also drag several images at once from Finder (or File Explorer) folder to an existing document in Affinity Photo to add them all as layers. I don't believe this will work directly from Lightroom but give it a shot and let me know. Will try to check out this later. CSAN
Thanks a lot for the warm welcome :) Unfortunately, I was not successful by using drag&drop from Lightroom to Affinity. Didn't get any error but no import. Tried it with dng but also with TIFF images.
Weswesm
Lots of examples for this technique for making composite photos (think "eclipse"!). I need to be able to add one or more existing documents to an open document, or add a bunch of documents as a new document, as layers. Is there any way to accomplish this using menu commands or context menu commands? Drag and drop doesn't work real well for me, is error-prone, I lose things that way. Thanks!
