jbikeler
I am looking for an option to auto-clean the mixer brush in the ios app. I have found that the small "water glass" icon in the bottom right of the brush menu will clean it once, but is there a way to toggle this option permanently on and off? Thank you so much for all your hard work on this app Serif. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite painting tools.
Staff MEB Posted June 26, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 26, 2017 Hi jbikeler, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) No, there's no way to toggle the Clean Brush permanently on/off. EdSA
I did find this disappointing. It's very tiring to keep on clicking the "clean brush" button for every stroke. At the least, there should be a short cut key to clean up brush.

Jorn_siberian
Yeah I'm also totally agree on that this function is easy to add, but will have big impact on "paint mixer brush"as a tool overall, as it will finally became a proper mixing tool and not just painting simulator. That's definitely true. Had experience with reporting a major brush bag for two years until it got fixed.Hope that topic will be noticed as now only solution I've got is to use both hands while mixing. One hand with pen and one tapping on "clean brush"' after each stroke))

Nick.Design
Four years later and still not implemented. Feels crucial to painting and pointless without it. Edited December 26, 2021 by Graphic Designer Nick bcowo
