stevezz1
Hi all, Installed Affinity Photo onto my windows 7 pc this afternoon but cannot see how to view my raw images before I open them. When I click file/open/folder where the images are, all I see are the raw icons, nef files in my case, with no image preview. Doesn't Affinity has it's own 'Bridge' type of raw browser? Many thanks, Steve.
jhoy
hi stevezz1 Affinity Photo uses your Windows interface at this point, have you tried changing view options on the top right of the open window.
stevezz1
Hi jhoy, Thanks for the reply. Just tried that, unfortunately there is no difference. No preview. I have just noticed another recent thread with the same topic. Files open ok, after a while, but without a preview there is no way of knowing what file I am opening. verysame
stevezz1, There are a few options for Windows in order to have RAW files preview in explorer. There are some free utilities which will provide thumbnails for many file formats (not sure about which RAW formats are supported though). If you do a search here on the forum there are a few threads already. The best solution remains FastPictureViewer Codec Pack. It's only $10 and it works like a charm.
