Kelvin
I would love to use this app as my primary photo editor but want to keep my photo library in apple photos which is backed up in the cloud and accessible on all my devices? How does this work? Is it transparent to my photos library or Do I need to import a photo or can I import an entire album and edit them and they are auto saved in my photos library or do I then need to export each of them to my photos library and then do I end up with a duplicate although edited photo? It would be great if I could just access my photos library and it would just auto save a new version back that would be backed up in the cloud and the edited version would just show up on my home mac and phone as part of the photos library. Staff Lee D Posted July 7, 2017 Staff Share Posted July 7, 2017 Hi Kelvin, Welcome to the forums. Currently you import single images from Photos to Affinity Photo, unless you are doing a Panorama, HDR Merge, New Stack or Focus Merge. These options allow you to select multiple photos to import. Once you have done adjusting you can export to cloud storage or using Share, save the image back to Photos but this won't overwrite the original as a new file is created. Improvement to this process may be added in future updates as development continues.
