Duplicate objects with the Option-Key - one click less

Recommended Posts

It would be helpful if i could hit the option key than click/drag the object without selecting it before. (At the moment i have to select the object on the canvas or in the layer-panel before)

Its just one click less but a huge productivity step in my workflow.

Hey Zwuckel, it's one of those nuisance you face when migrating from Adobe illustrator. You just have to get used to the idea of adjusting your work flow a bit. I am pretty disappointed to loose that feature but I discovered that if you have snapping enabled and then use ctrl/Cmd key instead of alt as you drag, you get all manner of snapping as you duplicate.

Thank you. I will try to change my workflow a bit. Let´s see if it helps. :-)
