sackwort
I've set the colour preferences to be identical in both Photo and Designer, but colours look different when compared side by side. For example, if I create a simple rectangle in Photo and fill it with blue, then copy its value and create a rectangle in Designer and fill it with exactly the same blue it looks paler in Designer. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks. Davidpaync
Staff MEB Posted June 21, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 21, 2017 Hi sackwort, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Are you using the same colour format and profile in both (Document Setup)? When you said you have set the same colour preferences are you referring to the Affinity Preferences or Document setup settings? sackwort
Thanks for your reply. Yes, as far as I can see I've set the colour preferences to be identical in both programs. I've attached screenshots of both preferences dialogues.
sackwort
I'm so sorry to waste your time, but I think I've suddenly found the solution. The opacity was set incorrectly. User error! jer

sackwort
You're welcome. I spent ages trying to work this out. Sometimes things are too obvious to notice.
