Royk
Hi Peeps, Today i had an interesting day in Affinity Designer. I am hardcore Adobe Illustrator and i am very interested in Designer. I struggled a with the colors. I do illustrations and would like use an stroke color that is almost identical than the fill color. Lets say i have an green object, i would like to have a bit darker stroke. In adobe illustrator I simply drag the fill color into the stroke color and its done. I change the value a bit and i am ready. I havent found a way to do this in Designer. Maybe this is covered all-ready with a simple short key or an different work around i havent found yet, or its simply not in the software. any thoughts? Alfred
With the object selected, go to the Colour panel or the Swatches panel and make sure that the stroke ring is on top of the fill circle. Choose the Colour Picker Tool and click on the fill of the object on the canvas. If you have the HSL sliders displayed in the Colour panel, you just need to move the L slider a little to the left to make the stroke a bit darker.
