Affinity image manager for iPad???

Recommended Posts

I would love to see a Light Room style app for the iPad (and Mac), to complement Affinity Photo.

Even if it is possible, would involve a new separate module for non-destructive management of some features and much memory and computing power (even to generate RAW previews based on grid zoom) - this probably means raising the minimum requirements 4gb of ram. The memory limits depend on the market, unfortunately.

Working on a single CYMK full frame file of 23/50 mil. RAW require a lot of memory.

I'm hoping to see in future a new app, a lightroom killer made by Affinity ( on desktop) this make sense for me but is a dream.

I keep suggesting how the likes of Photogene works. This lets you browse all the images in the Photos app without the need of individual imports. You can nip in and out of images and make all the various edits you wish which are stored in Photogene unless you export back to Photos. This means you keep Photos as the 'DAM' app but leverage AP for all editing and exporting as required.

This is like a half way house between what we have today and a dedicated DAM application but works on iOS.

I would just like to have the ability to preview a file whilst I am importing it say from iCloud. At present all I see are icons with no clue as to the actual contents of the file. JPEGs preview but not my RAW files.
